Lucero - Live In Atlanta

First off, if you’ve never heard of Lucero this is a bad place to start.  If you like what you hear from the stream and are interested in listening to Lucero though, I’d start with Tennessee. This album is for people that already love Lucero or are just big fans of country-tinged punk, better known as Cowpunk.

Over the last fifteen years Lucero has earned the reputation as having one of the most exciting club shows in the US; and Lucero – Live in Atlanta is a testament to their hard-earned reputation.  Lucero – Live In Atlanta was recorded at Atlanta’s Terminal West and consists of 32 songs. Yes, this album is long and clocks in at 2 hours and 5 minutes. Lucero – Live In Atlanta includes songs which span Lucero’s entire career.  The only downside to this live album is the flow.  When Lucero play live they never create a setlist so the flow of Lucero – Live In Atlanta could be better. That’s my only complaint.
