Ryn Weaver - Promises EP

Everyone is always looking for the next big musical act. Well look no further, because this twentysomething who goes by the name of Ryn Weaver just released her debut EP and it’s about to blow up.  On June 24 Ryn Weaver uploaded her first song “OctaHate” to Soundcloud and it brought the music blogs to a stand-still.  Ryn Weaver became an overnight sensation because of “OctaHate”.  Everyone was trying to grasp who this musician was and where she came from. Heck, Buzzfeed even wrote an article about Ryn Weaver trying to hop on the hypetrain and introduce her to the world.

“Octahate’ is the perfect synthpop, electro-pop, whatever you want to call this kind of music, song. The song was co-written/produced by Charli XCX and Michael Angelakos (of Passion Pit), along with Blanco and labelmate Cashmere CatMichael Angelakos.

The Promises EP by Ryn Weaver includes “OctaHate” but while that song has achieved the most press, the Promises EP shows that Ryn Weaver is capable of a lot more.
