Get a modern thermostat that adapts to your schedule. The Honeywell Lyrics thermostat uses a concept called geofencing to adjust the temperature of your house based on your location. This thermostat is easy to install through the intuitive companion app. The app will also detect when you’re away, and will make an attempt to save energy and reduce your heating/cooling costs, and when you’re on your way home from work, it will try to get your house back to the temperature of your preference. It comes with a few extra bells and whistles that the Nest doesn’t have, like a nice weather display and an “away” button for quickly activating your away settings. Personally, my favorite feature is the fancy ambient light emitted from the back of the unit when you make adjustments on the thermostat.
